SCB Europe Fall Webinars

During the COVID-19 pandemic, when ECCBs had be cancelled, SCB Europe initiated the SCB Europe Fall Webinar in November 2021.

Given the good attendance and positive feedback we keep this tradition alive and organize the fall webinars in non-ECCB years, as an appetizer for the upcoming in-person conference.

The 1st and 2nd fall webinars were organized as week-long online conferences, including keynote speakers, contributed sessions, workshops and round table discussions and was co-organized by SCB Europe standing committees, chapters, and working groups.

The SCB Europe Webinar 2025 took place as a series of individual sessions spread across October and November.

Code of conduct for webinars

Please follow and respect SCB's code of conduct when participating in the webinar.
In summary, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • All participants are expected to maintain professional and respectful communication throughout the webinar.
  • Participants may use the chat feature in Zoom to leave comments and ask questions throughout the webinar. Participants may also ask questions by raising a virtual hand when the session chair opens the floor for questions.  A moderator in each session will monitor the chat.
  • To limit the background noise, we ask that participants remain muted during the webinar. When there are opportunities to unmute, such as for Q&A, the session chair will let you know to unmute yourself.
  • We also ask that participants keep their camera off to ensure sufficient bandwidth in cases of reaching the maximum participant number in a session.
We will not tolerate the following:
  • Disrespectful language.
  • Discriminatory or derogatory jokes and language.
  • Posting sexually explicit or violent material.
  • Posting, or threatening to post, people’s personally identifying information.
  • Insults, especially those using discriminatory terms or slurs, and violent threats.
  • Behaviour that could be perceived as sexual attention.
  • Advocating for or encouraging any of the above behaviours.
