SCB Europe Region is YOUR professional society for biodiversity conservation in Europe
The Society of Conservation Biology (SCB) is an international professional organization of nearly 5,000 individuals dedicated to dedicated to facilitating, promoting, and advancing the scientific study and conservation of biological diversity.
As a member you will have access to many professional development opportunities through job boards, webinar series, and newsletters. You will be part of a global Society for Conservation Biology which provides many benefits to its community, including global policy programmes, conferences, free online access to publications for members in developing countries, and an online job board.
Voting members are able to directly impact and contribute to SCB Europe Region direction and initiatives. As a member you are eligible to serve on the Europe Region Board of Governors and the Global Program and Regional Council Boards. Full members are also eligible to serve on the SCB Global Network Board. Members can also join or contribute to one of our committees:
We are also looking for engaging leaders to re-start the Education and Membership Committees.
SCB’s publications are leading venues for research contributing to the science and practice of conserving earth’s biological diversity. In cooperation with Wiley Press, SCB publishes the flagship peer-reviewed journal Conservation Biology, and the online journal, Conservation Letters. Affiliated publications include Conservation magazine, Pacific Conservation Biology, and Biological Conservation.

If you are already an SCB member log in to your Member Homepage and join SCB Europe Region under ‘My Society Involvement’. Any active member of SCB may become a member of the Europe Region without additional registration fees. You can join up to two Regions.
